With over 50 years of combined experience, our compass adjusters have demonstrated hands-on experience performing magnetic compass adjustments on every type and size of seagoing vessel across the global maritime industry — from small private vessels and trailer boats through to large commercial vessels, naval vessels, and offshore industry vessels operating in some of the world’s most demanding maritime environments.

Our compass adjusters are career seafarers and maritime industry professionals — qualified Ship’s Captains and Deck Officers with hands-on experience across all sectors of the maritime industry. We understand the demands and pressures of vessel operations, port schedules, survey requirements and the complexities of magnetic compass applications, and we bring that knowledge and understanding to every job we attend.
We hold Compass Adjusters (Unlimited) Licenses issued by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), authorising us to perform magnetic compass adjustments on any vessel, of any size, of any flag, in any operational area. All adjustments are performed in accordance with the requirements of AMSA Marine Order 27, SOLAS Chapter V Regulation 19, and ISO 25862.
Our compass adjusters hold Maritime Security Identification Cards (MSIC) for access to Australian port areas and vessels, current maritime and offshore recognised medical certificates, and OPITO-recognised TBOSIET with CA-EBS for offshore helicopter travel to FPSOs and other offshore vessels.
We are members of the Australian Compass Adjusters Association and hold public liability insurance.
